We received a letter from some students involved in a safety program where they are learning that safety is important in our lives in order to protect ourselves and others. Safety issues are important in everything that we do!

One student, Anne, talked to her classmates about road safety and the responsibility of all road users. She also brought in an article for them related to pedestrian safety that has some relevance for runners. She asked if we would put this on our web site for her and her classmates to further promote safety. While most of us know most of these things, it never hurts to refresh our memory and be sure we are being as safe as possible  when we are out running or walking on the roads.
