As part of a safety program, the 5^th grade class at Haven Learning was given the assignment to find an article related to safety that would be of interest to a group such as the Striders. After a vote, the students decided on an article about the importance of wearing a bike helmet when cycling. This is a worthwhile article that discusses traumatic brain injuries and how wearing a helmet can help protect against such injuries. From personal experience, I strongly support wearing a helmet when biking.
